.....I would compelled to support this charity, if only because of the ability of the YWCA to make a direct impact on their chosen community. The endeavour itself is a positive one, and will likely change the face of support for women in need in Toronto. YWCA has shown itself to be responsive to this group of worthy individuals. At the same time, the organization needs to focus its efforts on communicating that need more effectively in its online presence and reconfiguring its major gifts organizational strategy to meet the expectations of donors in the twenty-first century. In this way, the YWCA Toronto may be able to make an impact over the long term by cultivating new donors instead of relying on those with whom they have engaged in the past.
