Global warming can no longer be a political football whereby some ultra-conservative Republicans in the U.S. feel it is just another excuse to increase government spending. It has taken far more experts than Al Gore presented in his documentary to prove once and for all that global warming is real and that it is a threat to the future living conditions of the world’s population.
As was explained in the Part 1 essay, the effects of global warming are massive and widespread. It is misleading to think that the only effect that global warming has on the planet is in the actual “warming” of the planet itself.
