This paper explores the linkages between Canada and South Asia and ponders the bi-directional linkages. The paper will provide examples of this bi-directionality and will offer a description of what is important and significant about the example and a description of what larger trends each appears to represent. In the end, Canada has given a great deal to India and to Southeast Asia in terms of jobs and economic growth, but Southeast Asia has reciprocated by enriching Canada’s cultural mosaic and by providing Canadians with cheap clothing apparel...
