This paper shall discuss cells as the basic unit of life. It covers the basic structure and function of eukaryote cells (cells with a nucleus). The process for the manufacture of proteins in terms of DNA and RNA is presented in some detail. Processes for energy conversion and cell division are also included.
Cells are the basic unit of life. They have the ability to replicate themselves using the genetic sequence within each cell. There are two major divisions of cells; those without a nucleus (prokaryotes) and those with a nucleus (eukaryotes). Primarily prokaryotes are single cell living...

Cells in larger organisms like humans come in many shapes and sizes with a vast array of functions. Each cell follows its own sequence of instructions from the same DNA that is common to every cell in the organism. They are truly incredible building blocks of life.
