“Every day 79 people are killed by firearms in America” (“Stop Handgun Violence”). Gun violence is a serious problem in the United States as seen by statistics. People are murdered in the United States every day, including children. Kyle Hirons was playing with a friend, when they found a handgun. The friend thought the gun was empty, but the friend shot Kyle and Kyle died at the age of fifteen years old (“Stories”). Kyle is one of many teenagers and children that have been killed accidentally from guns.
