The holy scripture Tanakh , and God are the two most important parts of Judaism. 2.The two main bodies of sacred texts in Judaism are the Tanakh and the Talmud. The Tanakh includes the Torah, the Nevi'im , and the Ketuvim . It was written in 450 BC. The other text is the Talmud. It includes the Mishnah , written in 200 CE, and the Gemara , written in 500 CE. 3.The Ten Commandments are as follows: 1. I am the Lord your God who brought you out of slavery in Egypt.2. A well known example being the kippah , which is a head covering worn by men.There are a number of Jewish holidays which are very important. These include: Passover, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Hannukah . 9.Judaism has moved into the modern age by adapting some of the scriptural interpretation. One shining aspect of Judaism today is the focus on women’s rights. Jewish society has been able to progress and adapt well to modern times.
