First Steps
In order to prepare for to research a new drug treatment with human beings, a number of things have to be taken into consideration. The first is the type of anxiety which is under consideration. As Nevid and Rathus (2005) write, anxiety disorders are Axis 1 Clinical Syndromes which impair functioning and are stressful to the individual. They include a wide range of diagnostic classes, but in general, anxiety is an emotional state that is accompanied by subjective, behavioral, and physical features.
