When it comes to politics in America, Republicans and Democrats, more often than not, find themselves in stark disagreement over many issues. And as it concerns platform positions on education and civil rights, these two issues are no exception. For the most part, that is, Republicans and Democrats agree on very few issues in education and civil rights. Accordingly, the following compares and contrasts the Republican and Democratic platforms with respect to education and civil rights. Commentary is also provided with respect to how the positions of the Tea Party align with the Republican and Democratic platforms.
