Maps is a mobile application through Google that allows users to view maps on a mobile device such as an Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, iPhone, Symbian, Palm OS and J2ME. When Maps is used with a GPS it can provide users with a geolocation and show the users current position on a map. In order for users to have access to Maps through Google they must have a specific application downloaded on their mobile device or they need to have the mobile device configured to a Java Virtual Machine.
