The research question for this study centers adolescents and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). What is being studied is the effects exposure to the trauma of disasters has on adolescents with and without treatment for PTSD symptoms.
According to the National Center for PTSD adolescent children have a higher rate of presenting symptoms of PTSD than other age populations.
