Persona Response to ESL/ELD Socio-cultural Issues Retell One of the most challenging and useful ideas I have learned so far is the complexity of the process of creating an environment in which multiculturalism is going to be respected and nourished. Particularly eye opening was to learn all issues facing newcomers to our schooling system. Looking at the facts about Toronto’s racial diversity is exciting but it also represents significant socio-cultural issues that are reflected onto the education system. The socio-cultural issues are particularly prominent in Toronto.
