Nurse Faculty Interview This paper presents a semi-structured first-person interview with the former dean of the College of Nursing at Niagara University, Dolores Bower, R.N., Ph.D. As part of the interview, two open-ended questions were posed: What was your role, and what preparation did you require for that role? The interview statements will be compared and contrasted with findings in peer-reviewed literature on the perceived role of nurse educators and college administrators.
