Letter to Child
Dear _______,
While no one can take away a person’s education, our choices about education does reflect upon our finances and our future. Each person must decide what education he or she wants to have whether it is a high school, bachelor degree or master’s degree and what field of education. It is also important to realize as a parent, my love for you is unconditional. It is important to look at the choices you have made in regards to these student loans, my role in regards to these loans and your role, what needs to be done about the student loans, and take action in paying these student loans.
First, it is important to look at the situation about the student loans and the choices made concerning the student loans....
The end:
.....en I finished college. It was not easy for me to pay off my student loans and it took me more than 10 years to get them paid. I have the sense of satisfaction because they are paid. If circumstances were different and if the recession had not hurt me financially, I would help you. Unfortunately, I cannot do so now or even in the future. I believe that you have options and that you can make the right choices. Take action now on these student loans because they will affect your future. Call the lenders and get your loans consolidated. Let them know the situation and try to work out a compromise where you can live with the payments. I have confidence in you that you can handle the situation because you are my child and I am proud of you.
