As the influences of globalization continue reshaping the planet, private universities around the world are enjoying the benefits of increasingly diverse student populations. At Near East University (NEU) in Nicosia, North Cyprus, for example, the school plays host to more than 15,000 students from 51 different countries around the world (Near East University, 2009).
