The fact of global warming is currently not debated. For example, in “The Science of Climate Change” Andrew J. Weaver explains how global temperatures have increased by .6 to .2C during the twentieth century. Under the best possible circumstances the average global temperature will rise another .5C over the next few centuries(Weaver 41).
