Patton Fuller Community Hospital, along with most other hospitals, is seeing the negative side of the health care debate first hand. Many patients are not insured enough, or at all, and thus are not getting the proper care they need. However, implementing reform is a costly endeavor on a federal level. There are economic impediments that are essentially affecting greater government action on health care insurance coverage, prescription drug costs, and improving lifestyle choices that need to be addressed on a federal level.
