Google's Acquisition of AdMob
Google is the largest Internet Company in existence. Google Inc. is a major Internet company. Google offers three different services: advertising, Internet searches and hosted applications like Youtube and Googleworld. Google is worth an estimated $42.81 billion and currently has a net revenue of $7.053 million(Anonymous 2010).
Google obtains most of its revenue through advertising. For example, between 2001 and 2007 Google has made $30 billion in advertising(Anonymous 2007). This means in 6 years it has brought in 5 billion a year in advertising.
In a natural move Google acquired AdMob. The deal cost Google $750 million. It made a lot of sense because AdMob specialized in online advertising. With this...
