President Obama, like many other presidents before him and most likely others to follow, made many promises during his 2008 campaign. These promises attracted the majority of voters to his campaign which lead to his victory over John McCain, the Republican candidate. Obama’s campaign cited the importance for change in many areas of government. He outlined many actions and reforms that he and his administration would take to effectively institute these changes, but has his promises become reality?
