Introduction
Between 1981 and 1997, the number of deliveries by women aged 30-34 years doubled and a similar trend was found in the United States (Fell, et al, 2005). Not only have profound changes already occurred in maternal characteristics but changes are continuing. The trends must be taken into account in designed a prenatal class but the problem with the study is that uses limited characteristics and primarily uses invalid correlations.
