Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper and many of his cabinet are proud fans of Margaret Thatcher. This affiliation with Thatcher has influenced the cabinet of Canada’s Prime Minister. In 2006 Harper made his first trip to London and his first stop was to meet Margaret Thatcher. The ideological affinity between Thatcher and Harper has influenced his relationship with his cabinet in terms of how he interacts with his minister (Cody, 2008).
