Excerpts from the Paper

The beginning:
Breakfast Food Differences Between American and Asian Cultures
Even though eating food several times a day happens across all cultures around the world, the kinds of foods everyone eats depends on the culture that they come from. The meal of breakfast in particular is different depending on where one lives or grew up. Some cultures prefer to start off with something sweet in the morning, while others prefer something savory or spicy to begin their day. Here we will compare and contrast the breakfast traditions of the United States and Asia, in particular China and Japan. These two societies have very different kinds of foods that they eat during the breakfast hour, although as time goes by there seems to be a greater influence from Europe...
The end: time, however, some changes are happening as Japanese culture is starting to adopt some American breakfast traditions into their food selections.
