There are basic principles that underlie research. These principles include a system or process of identifying an issue in the form of a question or problem. It is this systematic process that begins a plan of action. The plan of action is to answer the question or resolve the conflict caused by the problem. This is accomplished through collecting data and analyzing the data collected. When research is conducted choosing the right method or design to resolve the problem or answer the question is imperative since it is the foundation for determining reliability and validity of the study (
