Approach to a Patient with CHF, from Novice to Graduate Nurse Introduction Critical thinking is a complex process that extends far beyond the nursing process but also includes that process. Among the many skills related to critical thinking is problem identification, problem management, differentiating urgency and priorities, and using a rationale (Tong & Henry, 2005). In this paper, I will discuss how my critical thinking skills have evolved over the course in relation to congestive heart failure.
