”. Hearing these words was the happiest moment of my life as well as a culmination of dreams cherished from childhood and years of hard work and struggle. It was the first step for an aspiring young designer with the goal of becoming an important icon in the fashion industry. FIT is a most prestigious institution with an established repudiation for innovation and cultivation of talent. I believe that the program at FIT will give me the opportunity to demonstrate my talent and fervour for hard work as well as my commitment to my art. My goal is to design clothes that are memorable in the minds of those who love fashion and that make those who wear...
The end:
.....Designer Grand Prix in Japan. I also had an internship at Susana’s Fashion in Toronto, where I worked for a year and where I participated and learned about all aspects of a fashion business including purchasing, cutting, sewing, using industrial machinery, surging and fabric organization. I also had the opportunity to work in different styles of clothing including sport wear, knit wear, tailoring and evening wear. It was an amazing opportunity to actually apply my training and everything I learned at school in a real business fashion. I continued to intern at the same place every vacation during my studies. I also have proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Photo Shop, Illustrator, Gerber software and inventory related databases.
