Abstract
This paper is an annotated bibliography for a literature review of poverty and crime. The introduction presents the thesis that there is a nexus between poverty and crime rates. There are eight different peer reviewed journal articles presented as references for the review with studied not only in Canada, but in the United States and Sweden, all investigating the connection and relationship between poverty and crime.
