One of the major winter events of South Australia (SA) is the Sea and Vines festival (S&V) in McLaren Vale. Billed as a pairings festival, the event places a variety of seafood offerings with local wines from the region’s renowned vineyards. This two day annual event is in its 17th year and has become a tradition among locals and a destination for regional visitors. It is also part of a broader strategic vision for South Australia, and the Fleurieu Peninsula to increase tourism spending in the region using a combination of fine food and wine.
Located only a short distance from the city of Adelaide, McLaren Vale is the gateway to the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia....
