Reversing the Course of the Shrinking Circle of Concern: An Example of Public Political Activism through the Green Los Angeles Coalition In order to reverse the course of any social function, the status quo must be altered. The altering can take the form of widespread rebellion, but the consequence of such rebellion often does little to ameliorate the plight of the impacted society. The true change comes from personal commitment to ethical change, substantial change that achieves a level of critical mass through social activism. One organization that exemplifies a commitment to such change is the Green Los Angeles Coalition.
