A Multicultural Theme Unit for a Preschool
Multicultural education is quickly becoming one of the most important subjects in early childhood education. Implementing multicultural education in the early childhood education setting, however, requires a careful design based on the right criteria, standards, and practices. Accordingly, the following report presents a multicultural theme unit for a new preschool with students ages 3 to 5. The design reflects a comprehensive understanding of the components necessary to create an effective, culturally relevant, anti-bias program for preschool age children.
