The world is moving faster and faster, but government doesn’t seem to be keeping up with the pace. Government has many problems within a global community that is complex. Navigation of the change needed for government to be offensive rather than defensive a serious undertaking that requires understanding the apparatus of government from the inside out. The way the government runs as an organization is complex in and of itself. When the stress of a global economy is added the work lives of families, communities, and even our schools, are effected (“What is Organizational Learning?”, 2004).
