Every institution, no matter the purpose, function or financial origin, has a designated set of goals and objectives it aspires to fulfill in order to justify its existence. Most major institutions put these goals and objectives into the written word so as to affirm to its publics that the fiduciary or philanthropic endeavors remain in line with those purposes.
