TWO FRIENDS TO ONE

Once there were these two animals, a gray raccoon and a brown squirrel.
The raccoon's name was Bandit because it had black fur around the eyes
and the
squirrel's was Fidget. It was a beautiful summer day and they both just
got old
enough to leave home and live a life of their own. In the forest they
saw each other
and with their new freedom they chat and Bandit is the first to say and
he says,
"Hey, what's your name?"
Fidget responds with, "My name is fidget, what's yours?"
Bandit says, "my name is Bandit."
They become good friends and play and eat all through the summer. Then
summer was ending and fall was starting. The leafs start to turn to
beautiful colors
and start to fall. From the teaching of how to survive winter from

he knows from the signs of fall he should start to gather food for the
winter. But
the Fidget was lazy and never paid attention to his mother and about the
signs of
winter so he didn't know that he should gather food. Fidget went up to
Bandit and
said, "lets go play"
Bandit said, "sorry but I have to work and gather food"
Fidget said, "well okay, bye"
Fall was passing and now it is well into fall, near the middle. Fidget
goes to
Bandit and says, "lets go play you have been working all Fall, take a
break"
Bandit says, "I can't I still don't have enough food for the winter,
and you
should start gathering food for the winter too"
Fidget says, "fine be that way" and leaves
Fidget doesn't take his warning and winter sneaks up on the forest and
the
plants start to die. Bandit was already for the entire winter , but
Fidget didn't work
at all and would only play during the Fall. A snow storm hits the forest
and
destroys the plants until Spring. Fidget would go out every day to look
for food
but after the storm he couldn't find any food and dies of starvation.
